I built a successful business.
Somewhere along the way, I lost myself.
I had built something meaningful in my professional life. At the same time, difficult personal relationships and demanding client relationships were consuming my time and energy.
For a long time, I was so focused on responding to everyone else that I stopped noticing how far I had drifted from myself.
I was responding to everyone.
But I was no longer listening to myself.
I spent so much time responding to other people's needs, expectations, and demands that I gradually lost confidence in my own perceptions, decisions, and identity.
I cared about my work and the people in my life. But the way I was showing up for them left little room to notice what I needed, what I believed, or what I wanted.
The success I had built did not erase the strain I was experiencing. I began to see that how I related to other people was affecting how I related to myself.
Understanding my patterns gave me a place to begin.
Studying human behavior and self-authority helped me recognize patterns I had been repeating. I began to understand defensive responses and notice the choices I was making in difficult interactions.
That awareness helped me begin making different choices: how I communicated, how I responded, and how I respected my own time and energy.
I was also beginning to understand something bigger. Relationships influence how we experience business, love, family, money, time, and personal fulfillment. These parts of life are connected, even when we try to keep them separate.
You can care deeply about others without abandoning yourself.
I want other professionals to recognize these connections before they lose themselves in the process.
I created The Amore Journey from that understanding. I wanted to bring together the relationships we build in business and the choices that shape the rest of our lives.
My mission is to help people build professional relationships through trust and genuine connection, then carry those skills into healthier personal relationships and a more intentional life.
For me, this work is about communication, connection, boundaries, and self-authority. It is about recognizing patterns with compassion while taking responsibility for the choices we can make next.
